Hanrar approaches the western iron doors, and after determining they are safe to open he pushes them inward. Beyond, you see a rectangular hall. Silver mist and motes of crackling magic fill the frigid air. At the chamber's center is a 4’ high by 6’ wide basin traced in mithril. You can't see the basin's contents from your doorway vantage point.
A row of four iron statues flank the room on either side, of elderly kings sitting atop thrones. They are NOT all identical statues; each one is a different and distinct old king. They all hold their hands outward as if to read a scroll or tablet, but their hands are empty.
A crimson portal is set into an iron archway in the far west wall. On either side of the archway, the walls are embossed with the side-view images of two humanoid figures ‘pushing against’ the portal. You see the glint of something green in each of their eyes... gems, perhaps?
OOC: Those of you who want to be here (if you're still standing at the Cobblestone Path) may be here if you wish. No rolls needed, you just hop into the pit and take the corridor here. Let me know, and good luck! -MilwaukeeJoe
